I see there are reports that Mahrez was upset with being substituted at WBA on Saturday and that Shakey has had to have words with him over his disappointment.
Earlier in the Season I think "putting an arm round his shoulder" would have been an acceptable response but to be fair I think with his form Mahrez was/ is lucky to be in the starting eleven especially if he is getting above himself.
Can Shakey control him to get the best out of him or is it time for a period of him being relegated to the bench and others such as Gray given the chance?
What to do with Mahrez

One season wonder like most of Leicester players from last season

No he isn't and not is Barry who I assume you're referring to. I think Mahrez needs to book his ideas up if he wants the move he looks like he wants. Been poor for most of the season and has been lucky not to lose his place in the starting 11 never mind being subbed in a game he was poor in.

The talent is undoubtedly there though is what I was trying to get at in the shambles of a reply. Bloody phone.

that's true , imagine how good he would be if he could shoot with both feet at the same time.

I'd take a punt on him...he's massively one footed...but we should
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's scored several good goals with his right foot and is nowhere near as one footed as say Maradona or Messi. There are loads of right footed players who can't use their left but it rarely gets noticed, only when it's a left footed player does anyone notice.

The problem I'm seeing with Mahrez is his confidence is down and he's trying too hard to compensate but he needs to relax and stop trying to force it. He's frustrated because he's out of form and yeah he's just trying too hard and it's not coming off.
He's clearly got the talent, get this season out of the way, get a proper preseason in and he'll be fine next season and I have no doubt he'll be here too.
CS's words prove he knows what he's doing and how to manage difficult situations and he won't have a problem with Mahrez, he's got a great attitude and CS knows him as well as anyone.
So what to do with Mahrez? Tell him to relax and not force his game and he'll be fine.

He should get a couple of games relaxing on the bench then let him show his stuff against Spurs.

I agree, a spell on the monkey will do him good.
