.... on the new Forest Player for next season.
For those who don't know, there will be a replacement service starting next season called iFollow. It will only be available outside of the UK and It will video stream all matches that are not being shown on other UK platforms, ie Sky, BT, etc.
From what I have read, the video streaming service will cost £110 per season. I would think they will be keeping the audio commentary for a much reduced price.
I'm not sure how many games we have been featured on Sky this season, but if they stream 40 games, then the price for each game will be £2.75 per game.
That doesn't seem too bad to me, although £110 will be a bit of a hit in one go, I might even go for the package that they will be offering.
Does anyone else feel that this may be a reasonable deal?

Seems like a decent deal for those abroad. If it is every game that isn't on Sky, etc. Suppose it depends on the quality of the streaming, though.
Makes sense to engage with fans around the world more readily. Sure there will be an increase in illegal streaming as well, though.

Morninchile, it's the same outfit. They are just changing it to iFollow.
It surprises me that championship clubs are opting out. North American sports clubs (baseball, throwball, hockey, etc) have embraced this and are reaping the benefits from a more global audience.

I think it's global teams opting in Forest, Accrington, Leeds etc) and local only fan bases such as Derby that aren't buying into it. They get 30k every week, there isn't anymore left worldwide
