I see our owners are looking to buy a Belgium second Division side.
I wonder what this will mean for Leicester if they do, positive or negative?
Could it deflect their attention way from us and let them take their eye off the ball?
Obviously it could also have many more benefits, somewhere to loan players to get experience and also they could become a feeder Club?

Leicester Owners to buy Belgium Club?

I don't like this one bit.
Firstly because they're cheating on us. Spreading the love around with another club. Of course it will mean less attention to us. They are Leicester fans now they own us. They can't just go and be fans of other clubs they buy!
Secondly because I just don't agree with owners being able to own more than one club. I find it unethical and unacceptable as player movement between teams is always shrouded in controversy. The Watford/Udinese debacle has never sat comfortably with me.
Clubs should be run as individual entities.
Will watch with interest to see what this means for us.

There are rumours about this club being bought kind of as a feeder club. It's a fair way down the footballing pyramid in Belgium, but it would provide a useful access to players from around the footballing world given Belgium's looser immigration laws - particularly considering that nobody quite knows what effect Brexit will have on this country's immigration.
So while I can understand the concerns, I think it's part of the owners thinking big rather than getting bored and distracted.

Aren't they in the second tier Dunge and with a big catchment and under achieving. Sounds ripe for an investment decision to me?

Apparently they're a very recent club in that they've only existed for 10 or so years. And of course they'll want something decent in order to get better players, although with the owners' wealth they should be able to move on up. However, this is still the Belgian league we're talking about here.

This is a fantastic idea and shows that they plan to grow the business with the aim of benefitting Leicester on the future. Can only be a good thing and fair play to them.
