Martial is more talented but Rashford has adapted more to the managers requirements.

Not every manager can get the best out of every player

LVg failed with Herrera, SAF failed with kagawa etc

Some players just don't gel for whatever reason

Did I say it was just the marriage, I listed a bunch of reasons. I'm saying there a multitude of factors that seem to be effecting him mentally this season and having an effect on his performance. Being a professional footballer these days is a highly stressful and being able to deal with the many issues a player may face is key to succeeding. If you can't deal with multiple factors (many of which are not directly to do with football) then you will struggle and it seems to be the case with Martial this season.

Does that mean he will struggle forever, who knows? But it is largely down to himself to get over these issues that he is facing.

Is it really that f-cking hard to understand?

You have absolutely no facking idea what's going on in the lads head this season no more than you knew what was going on in his head or his life last season

A better manager? The guy has won more than any manager in the league with the possible exception of Guardiola. (I don't know the exact stats) But ya he's not a top manager....

So what is your f-cking point then if you claim we don't know anything? That it's all Jose's fault as usual and the fact he worked his way up the French ranks means he is mentally strong?

My point is clear, a person's mental strength is effected by an endless number of factors, many of which not directly to do with one's job. As a footballer their careers suffer more stress than most and he has dealt with quite a bit over the past year.

His own manager has also questioned him mentally and wants him to prove his worth, it was reported that he was distraught after France's exit in last years Euro's as well as him supposedly struggling with his divorce and homesickness so it's not a ridiculous assertion you belllend.

Literally every week you come out with complete and utter krap, followed by an emoji.

Sometimes things just don't work out

I'm not the one calling him mentally weak and questioning his footballing future based on 1 season. A player who up until this season has been on an upward trajectory career wise

You don't think working your way up through a highly competitive and talented french under age system takes mental strength as well as ability ?
You don't think it takes mental strength at such a young age to play cl football ? Gain a full French cap at a young age ? Then sign for one of the biggest clubs in world football and have a brilliant first season in the PL



Not to mention you don't know what else that young lad has gone through in his personal life before his arrival in Manchester

But he has one poor season combined with a divorce and all of a sudden he is mentally weak and you are questioning his future

God forbid it would be anything to do with the special one and the brilliant man management skills he's displayed this season. 😄

A mentally strong player would succeed in spite of Jose rather than fail because of him
