Jansson

From a very reliable source on Leeds Utd Phil Hay Yorkshires Evening Post reporter "Jansson has already signed a three year deal (although dispute is between clubs)"

Dispute is when money should be paid nothing more nothing less.

Jansson is Leeds

Who knows ......... fingers crossed he does.

It's the same with everything else at the moment.

Much anticipation, much hope - but we just have to be patient.

If we don't have him or Bartley next season, we have to start again defensively. What a frustrating club to support!

What I find strange about all this is that I'm pretty sure I've not seen anywhere, any quote from jansson confirming that he will be a Leeds United player next season.

I've seen stuff about how he loves it here, loves the fans, hopes he'll stay here, but not one quote saying he'll definitely be here.

This suggests that either he has never been asked this specific questions (which I doubt), or that he himself is not 100% certain.

I said that signing him in January would have been a big statement of intent by the club, and it still would be.

If there is a payment date issues, I can understand that, Cellino would look for any loophole possible, but until I see official news from club website, Jansson confirming it AND him actually appearing in a Leeds shirt next season, I won't be holding my breath.

Jansson made clear though that he expects to be here next season. "My future is in Leeds. I have a contract which starts in July." #lufc

From Phil Hay.

Cheers Stoopo, hadn't seen that from Hay, soother really should be no excuses for this deal going through.

I will wait until I see him in a Leeds shirt next season though before I can say it has happened.

Unfortunately, in a world of where lawyers hold sway, we shouldn't necessarily expect anything to be announced in an official capacity, or not at least until AR has tied up an completed the legal formalities of the proposed 100% takeover.

Also in relation to PJ, Torino have refused to give any further information due to the fact that their dispute was now lodged with FIFA, which seems to suggest that Leeds United also will not give be giving any official or final confirmation either for now.

Could this possibly be an indication of how AR will conduct business in the future? Overall, I would have a preference for this more formal approach to business by AR, compared to the gung-ho approach we have had to endure at times under Cellino.

So long as AR seeks to build a relationship with fan groups and give some form of briefing from time to time, I think it will can enjoy a more positive future. For certain, once the club is stable under 100% ownership then the possibility of such briefings are realistically more feasible than they have been for a number of years.

-------
Completely agree with with this and later comment about briefings.

We've had enough rants, blaming everyone, antagonising hands that feed us.

Would rather business was handled professionally and engagement was better in terms of sharing the plans.
