A frustrating season that promised so much early on but delivered nothing. Whilst I don't think we have improved on the Mancini era, I think it's clear to see what we are trying to do and the right additions will surely take us a lot closer.
Bravo - 4 His calmness and passing is excellent and anyone who can't see the impact it has in our build up play doesn't understand football. Unfortunately he can't stop footballs going in the goal and that is inexcusable.
Willy - 6 Done ok when asked, never good enough to be first choice
Sagna - 5 Ok at the back. Contributed massively to our failings against lesser clubs. Keep possession well centrally, pass out wide, move breaks down/doesn't develop as sagna just isn't technically good enough
Zab - 6 hasn't got as much pitch time as I think he deserved this year. Lost a yard of pace and making the right decision moving on. Legend
Clichy - 3. See Sagna minus the "ok at the back"
Kolarov - 5.5. I actually hate this man. Nothing makes me angrier than his incessant shooting from 30 yards and his general arrogance. Played well sometimes but more often than not poor
Stones 6.5 - took some settling time. Grown already this season and was in excellent form before his recent injury
Kompany - 7. Brilliant since back. Please keep him fit
Otamendi 6. So inconsistent, bad more often than good
Fernando 4. Barely played. Get rid
Delph 4.5. Barely played but injuries not helped
Toure 7. I've always believed Toure should have gone at the start of 15/16. Although in recent weeks he has been excellent. I'm undecided on his future
Fernandinho 7. Fantastic player, shown poor discipline at times though. Shown 2 harsh red cards this season but should have had one v boro
Gundogan 6. Very good when he was fit. Unfortunately season ruined early on
Navas 5. Don't dislike the guy but his technique is absolutely woeful. Needs to leave
Sterling 7. Still too patchy but developed a lot from last year particularly in the first half of the season
Sane 8. Remarkably quick and skillful. Could go on to be quite special
Silva 9. What a player. Possibly his best ever season for us which is saying something
KDB 8. Had a bad period mid season for a couple of months but he is fantastic. That pass for Sterling at home to Arsenal and the free kick v Barca are particularly memorable
Iheanacho 5. Hasn't got the build up play yet to cut it under Pep. Hopefully loan out and see how he develops. Unlikely to make it with us though
Jesus 7.5. What a revelation this guy is. Just something about the way he lifts the atmosphere when he plays. Could have have been even better if he wasn't offside v Spurs and united
Aguero 8. Says it all that he is widely considered not to have had a great season but has still scored 31 goals. We cannot let him leave
Player Review

I agree pretty much with these player ratings and that Aguero cannot be sold no matter what. I actually believe he has become a better player this season under Pep.
I will add Nolito to your list, 4/10.
Not had much game time since Christmas but the little bits he has played he's been dreadful.
The initial two months he was showing us that he could be a useful addition then he disappeared, get rid.

Nolito is one angry man

Cheers komakino. Can't argue with that

Nolito has a highly suspect temperament, I had hoped he would be a useful back up striker/winger but he always seems one tackle away from a red. Needs to be moved on.

The core players that will be there next year have had solid seasons, it's generally been the parts around them which have let us down.
Kdb needs to be scoring more. Sterling needs to keep heading in the right direction. Stones I've been pretty happy with, needs to be playing alongside some higher quality players at the back and he will be fine. Aguero, hate to say it but if one of the big boys come in with 40-60m on the table then the club will take it.

Anything about the Rags here Hafi? Anything about 0-0 draws or the need to score more goals? Anything about turgid football driving people to throw themselves in the Yangtze River (the nearest for most fans) in an attempt to obviate the boredom? No? Back to the Rag board for you then.

Just mention the fact you have seen the team he loves live more than him "once would be enough" and he soon runs away.
Although he's seen posh spice more than you I bet.
Super fan that one.

6th place, doctors prescribing Swamp season tickets to insomniacs and he has the cheek to come on here giving it large. Cheeky little scamp.
