Why rondon out

Rondon one of your best players ?????? That's gonna be a LONG list if you are getting rid of him

Rondon I like but he's not as good as is made out to be.

His missed chances has cost us roughly 6/9 points alone. Even at Swansea on the final day. He missed a hattrick of easy chances that would have finished us in 8th.

Some will say playing the lone striker role in a Pulis side is tough alone and whilst true...he just doesn't look to have it in him!

Not to mention he's heavily home sick with the problems that's going on in his home Country of Venezuela and also massively had his head turned by a £30mill offer from China.

Would you take Origi on loan ?

I'm 50/50 about Rondon. he's not the only player who's suffered a loss of form. Chadli certainly falls into that category too.

A lot depends on what funds we've got available and what deals can be done regarding money for Rondon and potential signings. Problem is, strikers tend to be very expensive and we need to strengthen virtually every position. It's also worth pointing out that he's had little in the way of competition so there's been little pressure on him to perform.

I'd be OK with keeping Rondon if we can secure a top class proven striker. It might give him a kick up the 'arris. Alternatively, if we can can a decent fee, sell him and sign two proven replacements.

I'm not keen on loan signings. Apart from the odd exception, they tend to warm our bench or rarely even make the first team squad.

Having said that, I saw Origi against us the other week and thought he looked pretty lively.

I'd take him on a permanent deal perhaps but not on a loan UNLESS we sign another proven striker.

Would take Origi in a heartbeat.

Isn't he ahead of Sturridge though in the Liverpool pecking order? Would take Sturridge to, tbf...

I'd only take Sturridge on some sort of performance related deal. I think he's got a long standing hip problem and his injury record is horrendous.

Fine player but made of glass!

OK. Might be a bit optimistic but:

OUT:
McManaman
Fletcher
Marc Wilson
Robson-Kanu
Mozza
Kids on loan

IN:
Smalling
Carvalho
Iheanacho
Charlie Taylor

Can but dream!!!

I would keep James Morrison and Marc Wilson for at least a season, but I agree with the rest. I think McManaman will sign for Sheffield Wednesday and Craig Gardner's done well to get a three-year deal at Birmingham.
We need a left-back (Charlie Taylor), maybe a CB, two pacy midfielders and two new forwards.
