You say that, and it was very strange to sit and watch it tonight... I was intending to meet my red mates at the pub in an Ajax scarf I have. But I binned that idea off. I just want to see some joy brought back to the city.

Me and my City supporting workmates were all going to wear something orange for work today to show our support for a team from Holland.

We gave up the idea after Monday nights tragedy as It would have been seen (quite rightly) as crass and shallow rather than a bit of fun. There was still a bit of good hearted banter before the game though it wasn't really the same.

I was all for a Ajax win. I would have laughed my male chicken off if they got beat by them in the final

Until Tuesday - Manchester needed a bit of solidarity. I know football isn't the be all and end all but any thing positive would only be a good thing.

Feel slightly let down by united following their dressing room antics. But hey ho done now.
