I take that on board, but killing joke where before my time old man.

fact remains, Time and place, 'Come as you' are caught the zeitgeist and is their most memorable tune.

I would say Smells like teen spirit is their most memorable time, followed by Come as You Are. I love About A Girl, especially the Unplugged version. That whole album is amazing.

The whole thing was beautiful, from how the stage was set up with the lillies (I think) to the sound they somehow created which went against all the stereotypes of the band. This was back when MTV wasn't completely moronic. It's hard to believe now that they were responsible for the excellent 'unplugged' series.

My favs are On A Plain, Lithium & Teen Spirit
