I think it was Patrick Viera who once commented on how baffled he was that Wenger never contacted him when he retired from being a player. And that he had to begin his coaching life at another club (although he had admittedly played for that club)
Having just spoken to an Arsenal fan who can’t understand Wenger’s stance on ex Arsenal players. I don’t know if it’s a stance as such? Perhaps Wenger just doesn’t think they have anything to offer.
But what about our own club? Would you like to see a Wisey, JT, Super Frank or Drogs back at the club?
If I am honest I wouldn’t want any of them back as the first team manager, but I’d love to see them have a role and pass on the benefits of their experience etc.
The word is Conte is going to bring in another one of his trusted colleagues that he’s worked with previously to replace Holland. Would you prefer Conte to pick his own man? Or do you think one of the assistants should have a past with the club in question?
could some club legends be utilised better?

I dunno but you'd be surprised with the things that Dave Lister could do with it

It all depends how good a coach the ex-player is imo, there's no point in bringing back a fan favourite when he isn't as good a coach as the other guy.
We've had success with ex-players such as Brian Kidd and Mike Phelan, but have also had success with coaches how had nothing to do with the club previously such as McLaren and Queiroz.
Phil Neville was also part of the coaching staff at one point, and if you asked United fans who'd you rather have assisting the manager, Phil Neville or Carlos Queiroz, it wouldn't be the ex-United player.

he appeared to be the ultimate Assistant. Not suited to a Managers' role.

If we was to buy Lukaku I would love to see Drogba working along side him, but it not very likely as he has just become a part owner in a MLS team.
The others will have to complete their badges and get some experience 1st.
Good players dont often make good managers/coaches

Wenger has nothing against ex players. Bould, Pires, Grimandi, Ryan Garry, Karbassiyoon all working for the club. Pat Rice was his assistant for years

Out of the 1966 World Cup team, only Jack Charlton, made it as a manager while Moore, Ball, Hurst and his brother failed. May be something in being less technically gifted that helps sometimes make you a better manager.
