Hamilton Accies

Not many's choice to stay up this year (well apart from a good few of the Bears given who the opposition was ) but Hamilton managed to save themselves with a hard fought 2 game play-off against Dundee United.
By doing so they remain the only side to come up through the play-offs since they were introduced - Falkirk, Rangers and Dundee United all failed after making it that far.

I agree on the whole United bring so much more to the league - a much better support base (Accies struggle to fill their stadium for local derbies or games against either of the OF and look at the size of it!) and a grass pitch which so many players and fans rightly prefer.
Credit where it is due though, Accies stuck to their model of youth and even more so stuck by Martin Canning and it's paid off for them... just!

Good to see the old hometown team staying up and with my nephew being kept on permanently with the Accies youth setup (he;s 10) it means he'll be able to play against premiership youth teams and be a ball boy at many of the Accies home games next season
