With an owner like that it is hard to see anything other than long term success for the club, as a team and a business. Has faced the difficult stuff (Sergio etc) and does not come across as shooting from the hip with knee jerk reactions, rather that there is a plan and there will be bumps on the way but that there is confidence that these can be dealt with. The bit about Zab is simply priceless. Best owners in the business.

His comments about Sergio show the press up proper, they wont like that 😂

To be fair loz, my thought that Agüero would leave was not influenced by the press.
The way that he has been asked to play seemed to be laborious for him and he doesn't play as though he's enjoying it any more.

I'm happy that he's staying and we'll beat Pelligrini's goals scored record playing Pep's 0-0-10 formation.

It's just the way the press stirred it up manc stating things as fact and critisizing the manager for something he wasn't even planning to do.

Pathetic.

Cue story that Real no longer want him but he will be moving to China. Sadly for them we don't have owners that settle for mid table mediocrity and a football style which consists of parking the bus and hoping to nab a goal against the run of play. City won nothing this year and clearly this includes friends in the press, but it is hard to believe that they won't win trophies next and in subsequent years.

Ffs some hack called Rob Harris is now accusing us of eroding modern journalism by organising an in house interview with our own chairman ????

Yeah I wonder why our chairman wouldn't want to speak to British journalists???

The same in house interview he has done every year since becoming Chairman.
Pity more Chairmen don't speak to the fans like this.
He is a great figurehead for our Club

Lots of good points. Aguero going nowhere. At least 6 transfers this summer. Goalie almost done. 3rd isn't good enough. Long term viewpoint. Going in the right direction.

Exactly, he's speaking to the fans directly he doesn't need the press to twist what he said suit their opinions.
