Return of the glory days?

Just watched the highlights of your win against Crystal Palace and, although the win looked fortuitous, it must have brought back so many great memories of beating such illustrious opposition.

With a cup game against Man Utd's kids coming up, I hope the players don't take their eye off the ball against Bristol City and undo all that great work.

Perhaps those always berating Ken Bates will realise his plan of turning you into a solid championship club is the right move in the long term. From there, who knows? Maybe massive games against Blackburn and Swansea are just around the corner....

Interesting time for you Leeds fans, so enjoy the success and don't ever forget where you were a few years ago....

I'll be watching your cup game with interest and expect to hear 'Glory Glory Leeds United' ringing around Elland Road like it used too.

Good luck.

They do seem to have a chip on their shoulders where Leeds United are concerned, don't they? And they have a Bradfordesque resentment that it's not reciprocated in kind, and that they are like unto an irritating mosquito to us, worth the occasional swat, but nothing more.

I sometimes wonder if some of our resident fakes are Peterboro fans in real life.

Everyone's a Peterborough fan deep down, it's the Barcelona style football that everyone wants to see played.

Peterborough, the worst shitehole I've had the misfortune to stay at.

Theres also the shirt front who writes in their local paper (in 27 East European Languages for some reason?), who had a healthy jealousy of all things Leeds I seem to recall. Pub teams and their handful of ****heads, you couldn't make it up!

You mean Alan Swann....top bloke and very knowledgeable with regards to former big clubs and their demise.

Peterborough is a dreadful hole and I believe for many years it was the no.1 dumping ground for the London "overspill" dregs after the war ... this might explain why so many Posh fans fancy themselves as some kind of mini mockney mob.

Last time I was there some of their fans were laughably hostile towards us considering we have no history whatsoever... save all that aggro for Cambridge Utd lads

Ah here he is. PWA! Or as I like to call him: Poor Wum Attempt. Tell me, is that number a score of how many poor wums you have gone for? Surprised the number is that low.

Of course he has a chip on his shoulder re Leeds. Anyone who doesn't deny a jealousy of Huddersfailed town is bound to be jealous of Leeds united.

Your presence is duly noted PWA
