He is getting in players that fit the short term plans of Koeman and investing in the players for the future growth and stability of the club. Calvert-Lewin and Lookman already showing his knowledge of the lower leagues and the excellent players at that level, add in Gueye snapped up from Villa for a steal (Kante anyone!!!)
Then Koeman laying down the law to players who want to hold the club to ransom – well off you go fellas….we have Walsh to get in your replacements. Cash in on them and let Walsh and Koeman work their magic with the transfer funds. All the while Koeman is giving the great crop of home-grown and youngsters we have got in game time.
