Has Michy played his way into conte's thinking
it's been a tough season for the young Belgian, many argued he was not given a chance, some like myself questioned his ability.
However, in the last few games, albeit with the pressure off, he came up with some goals and other than trying to force it at times, looked actually quite good. He then went on to score a very nice goal for Belgium, crucially linking up well with Lukaku.
Conte mooted a 4 2 4 formation in pre season, and with the 343 being copied by every other club, I am hoping we come up with a plan B, a 4 2 4 or a 352 wiith the right players will give us alot of flexibility both tactically and with the players we can use,
For instance
in a tight euro away night a 3 5 2 with alonso and moses on the flanks and someone like Fabregas in midfield to ping balls to a front 2 would work well.
a 4 2 4 with pedro and hazard flanking a front 2 could blow lesser teams away with pace and power when they want to sit in and defend.
both these formations will need 2 strikers or hazard playing centrally, so we need 2 good strikers.
Is Michy that man or is he off

Bats is a good striker, maybe even a very good one. I'd like to see him given a much bigger part next season but we just don't know what the manager really thinks of him at this stage.

Certainly it seems that we must give him more time, that goal was top drawer,and the touch from Lukaku was pretty good as well .
I wonder if Conte was impressed .

Said it before one of only three issues I had with conte all season, over a whole season that is nothing but still, one of the three none the less.
Bringing on bats when we are 2 or 3 up, not for 15 minutes, not for 10, but for 30 seconds, was criminal.
Guy has a goal every 26 minutes for us this season. Unreal record. Needs a chance.

Still feel like Conte doesn't rate him highly enough. Id rather start with Batshuayi next season than Lukaku in all honesty.
