A few places running this story. Thoughts?
"very nice" Lacazette offer

If we stick with this current line up, clearly Walcott is going to struggle for game time.
Perhaps letting Giroud leave means Theo will be told to get used to being a striker again?

^ as in a new pecking order, rather than some ghastly new first choice attacking formation.

We have to retain the ability to adapt, though. Walcotts future certainly seems restricted by the 3-4-2-1, but there will be times when we have to change up.
Would be very concerned if we went into the season with those 3 as the options. A new striker to the league, a striker who cannot score, and a wide attacker who has never established himself up front. Especially as the latter two have been very injury prone in their Arsenal careers.
If we did sell Giroud I firmly believe we have to replace him as well as buying the first choice striker.

No chance will we buy both Laca and Mbappe. We will probably miss out on Laca while fruitlessly chasing Mbappe as well.

Dont know why you always comes out with the same old shiiiiit. Selling Giroud would be idiotic as no one of the big boys have such an alternative striker option. He is so different from all striker in the PL that makes him unique. He is good in what he does. Simple as that. He has been abused and scapegoated see above all day long but never hide and worked his way back into the team. Do you think it is a coincidence that he is prefered opition in the french national team. I like Giroud at Arsenal and his stats speaks for itself.

Giroud while not the world class Arsenal needs is probably the best second choice striker in the league. He's always trying his best, absolute beast in the air, scored most headed goals in recent years and in general has a high goal scoring potential but only if our midfielders play to his strenghts. Yes, his speed and agility are not that good but if they were he would be as good as Zlatan. Scoring a goal every two games is not easy in this league. Yes, we need better first choice striker but why anyone would like him gone is something I really can't understand.

Zlatan has no pace at all.
