I'm starting to get excited!

We seemed to be waiting forever, in limbo, after GM left and before TC became our head coach, but this week things really seem to be happening.

First, we have signed Klich and are rumoured to be signing a few more.

then, tonight, I read this article

http://the72.co.uk/84822/leeds-united-saiz-agreement-close-spanish-source/

and, if it is true, we are actually outbidding quite a few other decent clubs. I can't remember when we last did that!

I'm beginning to believe that the club, and AR, might have a decent amount of money to spend in this transfer window.

There is also a rumour tonight that ER has been bought back. If this turns out to be true, we could finally be starting our journey back from the wilderness and exciting times could be just around the corner.

When we bought the Italians they were relative nobodies. Now we are buying or are linked with players that are sought after by a lot of top European clubs. That's s good sign.

And the "Italians" no-one wants seem to be attracting interest from reasonable clubs....., so not all useless signings.

Berardi has been good for us but I remember those thinking he was useless too.

Owning ER is a real positive, indeed, it was something I was hugely keen on. However, it's not the most important thing for me. Financial stability and a playing squad that is good enough to compete are my priorities.

Fair ticket pricing policies too....

Or go to Liverpool & see if they'll lend Us solanki for the season...

Spot on, Harj. Might be a bit of a queue for that boy, though

I meant in the sense that would u have faith in the decision and ambition/direction of the club?

solenke or maybe that armstrong lad who looked really good also. a few errant passes but thats to be expected.

Hard to say.

I'm not going to write any signing off before they kick a ball for the club, but at the same time a high amount of signings of players who have never played in England, let alone the two top tiers of England is not something that fills me with massive amounts of confidence.

But, you would have to see the positive in a chairman who bought back elland road.

I know the ground ownership shouldn't actually be that big of a thing, however it's the one thing I've always associated with the fall of the club, more than anything. the selling of the players (players come and go all the time), the relegation (plenty of teams have bounced back after relegation to establish themselves) all meant less to me than owning the ground as that was the shining beacon of the clubs fall, or at least it was to me.

Buying it back gives us a sense of hope of better days, and you add to that a few good signings and a decent pre season and Leeds could go into the season with a feel good factor that could help propel the club forward this year.

Agreed

I'm happy that we are getting business done early and actually spending money.

But I'm going to wait till the first few games before I judge. I know absolutely nothing about these players. They could be great but they could be absolute flops.
