Manchester United to turn to Fiorentina's F.Bernardeschi valued at €50m if Inter do not lower their €55m valuation of I.Perisic. [Media Set]
Probably a better buy, cheaper, only 23 and out performed him last year.
Perisic alternative

Dzeko was the top scorer in Serie A last year, right?

I think I'd much rather we bought our first choice for an extra €5m.
I don't watch Serie A so can't really give much of an opinion but why exactly would he be a better buy?

Literally never heard of him

I remember there were rumours SAF tried to sign him when he was a teenager but this was about 7 or so years ago - around similar time we signed Davide Petrucci ( remember him??)- but his family were reticent.
Is he the same guy?

Perisic is a good player but overpriced. But under the circumstances I can see why Inter are setting that price.

Inter have more to lose with impending sanctiions.
I know we suck at negotiations but I will be extremely disappointed if we get bullied by a club desperate to sell.

I would love a time where we can negotiate a reasonable 'fairer' fee for our player transfers - both in and out.
I know a large factor of our 'failings' is down to our own stupid carelessness of handling money (because we're filthy rich) but we need to curb that at the RIGHT moments. Otherwise we'll just carry on being stupid in the transfer market.

Mhki, Bailly, Lindelof (hopefully), Herrera, Blind, Mata weren't bad prices. We got most of our money back from Memphis and Morgan. Rojo and Darmian where pretty reasonable priced, as was Bastian. Don't think anyone was complaining about Martial's fee a year ago while Zlatan was free.
Pogba was over prices while di Maria sadly failed at the club.
I feel people overreact on the individual fees we've actually paid so far on players. Yes combined it's a stupidly large amount and many haven't lived up to expectation but many have been worth it (in the current market anyway).

Yeah. Had a great season. Outscored higain, belotti, icardi and martens.
But then again Dzeko has always been a good striker.

He's more to his game than Perisic... Different sort of winger tho,
Thought Juve were in for him tbh

Bernardeschi is completely different to Perisic but I'd rather the former as he has a higher ceiling.
