Tbf to Rodriguez he hasn't got into double figures since then because of all the injuries.

It's the injuries that would make the price tag questionable more than his talent.

Crumbling knees, might get about 15 games a season out of him if you're lucky. Unfortunately for him as he has talent.

Our medical team have an extremely good track record. They're amongst the best in the Prem.

I doubt we'd sign him if our team thought his injury record was a long term problem.

There's still a big question mark there though. He still only had one good season so, even if he stays fit, we'd be taking a gamble on him replicating that form. And that's IF we can keep him fit.

I think that's a good signing in terms of talent. Got to remember this was once a player on the books of the national team as well, he's got the ability. Again, as mentioned, its all about the injuries and how well they are managed.

Quality rotation is needed to keep him fit. He would make a good signing if you can get the best out of him. If he can catch that form he found before his injuries, I'm sure he will do well.

What you need is a Wilfried Bony. Luckily there is one available that fits the bill. You may even get a limited edition Samir Nasri thrown in the deal.

He won't play ten games all season.

£12m fee plus add ons.
£3.5m in wages for one goal.
£200k in bandages and wheelchair hire.

Well done

Even by your infantile standards this seems fairly pessimistic given that he scored 5 gaol and made 2 assists despite only starting 9 league games last season. Also worth pointing out that he was fit for the majority of the league campaign too!
