Personally, am 50-50 on this one if we are to sign him. If you are not going to play him through the middle then forget it. He used to drive me mad when he played on wing for us. He couldn't beat a man and would continuously give the ball away. We do need competition in attacking mid areas so decent player with premier league experience always a plus.

They're probably just having fun with all us cos fans are so impatient and get so jumpy.
We have previously done ones for VDV, Crouch and Keane as well.

Quality player at his peak with PL experience. Arguably the best set piece taker in the league. We should go for him and give him a go in the centre. We have CL and cup games with which to rotate him and Eriksen around, and will in all honesty be lucky to see Lamela again.
He would improve the squad for sure.

I didn't even mention Barkley above Edin. Merely talked about the benefits of Siggy was and how he'd improve us, which is hardly untrue.

The article I posted disproved the benefits of signing Siggy though.
His threat is from set pieces and taking an obscene amount of shots every game, he wouldn't make our starting squad in fact he wouldn't even be our first attacking sub with our fully fit compliment. He isn't particularly creative, except off corners and crosses which isn't something that we need
