In a world that is currently full of negativity, what Defoe has done over the last year or so for Bradley Lowery is so refreshing to see.
Footballers are often seen as money grabbing, egotistical mercenaries so massive credit to Defoe for what he has done and how much time he has given to Bradley, making his last year or so in this world as special as it could be.
Seeing Defoe break down in front of the cameras yesterday was awful to watch and made me think about my 6 year old girl.
God knows how Bradleys parents are feeling and hopefully i will never find out.
Defoe is an absolute legend and deserves a knighthood

I did not say Hernandez was great. He did a job, took Berba out the team actually. Defoe could've done that as well if not better.

He would have probably scored more than Tevez did in his last season with us.
And going by the way he turned out SAF was right not to buy.

I do agree Defoe is better than Hernandez but not good quite enough to be a regular at United.

I agree Tevez is a grade 1 tw*t but he could've been a great player for us if he was happy at United.

Don't think there's any shame in that. Solskjaer was not good enough to be a regular for us. I'm not sure Vc was insinuating we should have bought him to become a regular either

Jermain didn't do this to become a hero or get a title. He just did the right thing. This reward only he can truly appreciate.

Deserves a lot of credit for making the little lads short life a bit more bearable, heartbreaking...

Then again Giggs winning it kind of made it Skumbag Personality of the year so maybe not
