Morata-Belotti-Dembele?

I think we can all agree, if we do go after Morata or Belotti , then we are taking a big big gamble at the prices mentioned, I think it was 80 mil for Morata and 100 mil release clause for Belotti . So given that one is used as a sub which I mentioned in previous post and the other has had one good season in Italy. is it so far fetched to take a smaller gamble money wise on Dembele at Celtic, I would assume but this is just an opinion that a fee between 35 and 40 mil would be acceptable mark to Celtic.
Yes it could blow up in our faces, but so could the other 2.
Scottish football I know is not the best but he does look to have something about him. And then we go into new season with him and Bats and possibly Llorente at Swansea as another back up if we could sign him
Just putting it out there for debate

Celtic have just taken one of your honegrown youths on loan, Kyle Jameson.

I'd bring back the reserves, let these young lads pit their wits against aging stars or recuperating stars, let them feel what its like to be left for dust, spun like a dummy and kicked like a donkey rather than farmed out to all and sundry with no security.

Flash

I like you as a poster but that's utter gash mate.

Your OP directly contradicts the statement above.
Is he or isn't he worth the 'gamble' of tens of millions?

"i'm torn between, he's fast and he has an eye for goal and.............Its Scotland."

That was my first comment on it.

Anything since has explained (in my weird mind) why i'm torn.

The money that would take for Celtic to let him go would be a massive amount of money. If i'm right, it would dwarf anything the Scottish League has ever received for a transfer fee..........Ever.

That for me is a risk when we've already done this once. And for a club that looks like it's striving to be more self sufficient, we cannot afford to do that when you assess the environment an at face value, impressive record is achieved in.

Some qualitis are the same in all leagues.

Pace, acceleration, strength, balance and first touch in the main.

Got those as a striker and you have them in any league.

Dembele looks a good striker. Maybe worth a gamble if we can't get Morata/Belotti at a decent fee. Van Dijk and Wanyama came from Celtic recently to the PL and have done fairly well.

Dembele = Abraham

It's an interesting debate to be had, because he does look like he's got something about him. He has that oh so attractive "extra yard" that young strikers thrive on (until they lose it, Owen, Torres, etc...), you can just visualize him, Hazard & Pedro completely destroying defenses on the counter. Regardless of circumstance I'd have him over Abraham, sorry I just would.

In a perfect, utopian like scenario we'd have someone like Dybala lead the line and he'd be the rotational backup. If we were entering this season with the same exceptions as last (top 4 without distractions) it might've been worth the gamble, but to bring him in as the no.1 now whatever the fee would just be too high risk for me.

Think Morata's the way to go now. Lukaku would've been nice but there's genuine positives for us having Morata instead - just ignore the fee and focus on the player's value on the pitch.

take the blinkers off for just a moment and tell me the Scottish Premiership is even of similar standard to that of 17 years ago?

The league where most of his goals are being scored is currently at best on a par with The Championship in England. You call that arrogant, i call that realistic.

fraser forster - English international... absolute gash!
VVD.. who would sign him? I mean he played in the SPL ..FFS!!

Keiran Tierney... looks like we're stuck with him... no one wants him...
