The 2017 ESPY Awards were dominated by Peyton Manning's skill at telling jokes and renewing his friendly rivalry with the New England Patriots.
The Patriots were one of the event's big winners, taking home the honor for Best Game when they stunned the Atlanta Falcons with a 25-point comeback to win Super Bowl LI 34-28 in overtime.
NFL Winners:
Best Play: Aaron Rodgers' Pass to Jared Cook vs. Dallas Cowboys (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVAECoucqNo)
Best Breakthrough Athlete: Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Best Game: New England Patriots def. Atlanta Falcons, Super Bowl LI
Best NFL Player: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Best Male College Athlete: Deshaun Watson, Clemson
Best Comeback Athlete: Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers
What do you reckon?
Bias aside, I'd agree with Rodgers for Best Player and Nelson for Best Comeback.
Personally I would've given Best Breakthrough to Elliot, with Bosa at #2 and Prescott #3.

I don't like rookies getting best breakthrough.
That's just what rookies do, every rookie who plays a single snap is a "breakthrough"
I'd rather it was given to a player who has maybe disappointed so far and has finally broken through.
Someone like Clowney or Ajayi.

Actually that's a very fair point - Ajayi was very impressive last season. Benefited from a lack of depth in quality at Miami, but can't deny he stepped up!

Clowney wasn't even our best olb, mercilus was better than any player that won an award
