If/when Kean is sacked, I wonder if Venkys would be astute enough to consider Gary Neville? Sky appear to be grooming him for Andy Gray's old role but if approached by a PL club less than a year after retiring, he might be flattered enough to accept. Obviously its a risk as he has no experience but I'm seriously worried about the quality of manager we could attract given our league position and the fact that our owners are semi-crackpots who don't look like they'll be stumping up any money above player sales after all.
From his brief media career so far I'm impressed every time I hear him. He talks a huge amount of sense, conveys passion for the game and contrary to his playing image seems quite a sound guy. He's won 14 major trophies in 19 seasons at one of the best clubs in the world, and captained them for a significant amount of time as well. In terms of respect from players and a winning mentality, he's got everything Kean's hasn't. Hope they consider it anyway, although knowing Venkys they probably don't even know who he is.
How about Gary?

Bryan Robson.
Great football brain, but just lacked the bottle to handle the pressure that comes with the job.

Therefore not a good manager.

You thought this post was a stroke of genius you were gravely mistaken! I would rather have Kean than weasel Gary Neville I cant stand him and he has no experience as a manager.

No I thought it was an option Venkys should consider. I assume you know that you not liking him means absolutely nothing? Yeah no experience, like all new managers. Just depends if we're willing to take a risk when the list of all alternatives will likely be far less impressive than fans seem to be expecting.

Nevile is the worst pundit ever...always stating the bleeding obvious, I wanna see how he analyses a Liverpool game
