I'm glad were keeping Rose as I feel the quality he adds compared to Davies is greater than Walker's with Trippier.

Injury .......I don't think we would of sold him anyway but the injury made it easier

Theres a very simple difference.

Poch was fine with Walker going but wouldn't want to lose Rose. Whether individuals on this forum agree with him is another matter but there is no doubt that Walker was going to see less game time next season. He would see that as a step backwards and something he couldn't allow to happen, especially in a World Cup year.

I'm sure city will sign rose next season anyway.

Levy would not be able to sell both in one year he can deflect criticism by selling just the one now and one later.

Strengthen a rival, watch everyone around you do good business and we just sit and hope that our players improve year on year.

It's obvious Levy has a huge say in things during transfer windows because the same things keep happening with different managers.
