Who will be the youngster that steps up to the plate this season, making a real name for themselves in the first team squad?
2013/14: Nabil Bentaleb
2014/15: Harry Kane and Eric Dier
2015/16: Dele Alli
2016/17: Harry Winks
2017/18 Runner and Riders:
Cameron Carter-Vickers
Highly rated, English-born, US u23 CB. Had a few chances here and there, without really catching the eye. Our penchant for a back three may see him given a few chances.
Kyle Walker-Peters
With his namesake going, chances may be easier to come by with the RB spot not nailed down. Versatility by virtue of being able to play both sides may see him in and around the squad, even if not 2nd choice either side
Josh Onomah
Off the back of a good u20 world cup win in his preferred CM position, this may be the year Onomah gets a chance for us in that position. Youth experts rave about him, but we have not seen it. Yet.
Marcus Edwards
Almost become a mythical figure. We know so much about him, yet so little. Played his role in the u19's tournament win this week, setting up the semi winner with a great run. Competition is fierce in the forward positions though
Georges-Kevin N'Koudou
A patchy first season for the 22yr old, but glimpses of old fashioned wing play most fans love to see. The 3421 does not really hold a place for him, and competiton is fierce..
Tottenham Hotspur Breakout Player 2017/18?

Juan Foyth and Vincent Marcel are potential players to add.
Vincent Janssen is still only just 23

Keanen Bennetts played LB at Stevenage yesterday, desoite being a winger (I beleieve)
Kazaiah Sterling did not play, fuelling rumours we will be going to the US with us.
Shayon Harrison scored yesterday v Stevenage and by reports played well

Sterling is definitely going and I believe Shashoua is suppose to be too.
Hoping they take Edwards not sure he needs a break after the euros considering he barely played much.
As for the actual op I'm not sure as we have a pretty settled squad and will be hard for any youngster to breakthrough but you'd have to put KWP as looking like he'll get the most chances ( assuming we don't bring in a RB )
Personally hope Janssen finally finds the back of the net

They we're busy boys yesterday, they both played v Ebbsfleet in a 3-1 loss as well. Harrison scored in that as well.

Agree with Hengy. Barring injuries I don't really see anyone breaking into the squad as there's surely a considerable gulf between the level they've been playing at and where they need to be. Not saying it can't be done but I don't even see where we can throw them in to see what they can do.

None of them were expected to make a big impact previously to be fair.
There always seems to be one who gets his chance and takes it

Suppose but the team is currently the most settled it's been for years.
We can nail on the 13/14 players that will be used the most.
Suppose Onomah might make a positive step up this year.
Not sure Nkoudou will be around for next season

We may need to loan josh out to a team that will play him in his best position and see how he does

Spurs don't loan out players unless we then sell them.
Cannot even remember the last loan player poch sent out and then he came back as was used. Poch keeps them around the squad. Personally I disagree with this method. Onomah badly needs some consistent proper men's football

Will be between Onomah and CCV this season, both will get a chance in League Cup and FA Cup, be interesting to see if they both seize the opportunity who gets a bigger chance, my guess is it will be CCV as he looks to be a back up RCB
