This is assuming Matic and Costa will be sold, and Zouma completes his loan to Stoke. Question marks as to whether Kenedy and Baker will be kept or loaned. The latter I would personally keep.
What's your thoughts on the squad, seeing it in black and white?
I think central defence is very strong. Probably the strongest depth there in the league. I'm very happy with Morata and Batshuayi up top. And while the 4 wingers gives plenty of options, I'd love to see us get Mahrez, or someone of that ilk.
But centre midfield and wing backs look light. I'd love to see Baker given a chance. And he can also play further forward. A bit like RLC's cameo's last season. Definitely more depth needed there though, considering the amount of games next season.

Can't see either of those staying. I thought Blackman has already had a loan deal agreed. I think Brown will go on loan too.

We've been linked with Telles from Porto I believe? Know nothing about him. I feel like RWB is the priority...Azpi could do a job at wingback but it definitely isn't a position he'd excel in.
While I wanted Sandro badly, probably more than a Striker (can never say no to top 3 in the world for their position) I am Happy with Alonso as long as he has a back up, Bertrand would be a solid re-signing, I thought it was a mistake selling him.

Looking at our CM options I feel we are missing a player, I know Chalobah only had a year left but for the £5m fee I would have kept him and risked losing him on a free.
If we sell Matic I feel we will buy another CM.

Why not promote Baker ? He will be happy to sit on the bench. Obviously Chalobah wanted game time which Conte couldn't promise. Also, we have a buy back and sell on clause for Chalobah.

I just feel Chalobah at this stage was a better CM, Fed up of waiting for our youth players to make the break through but never giving them the chance.
