Now he is the president of that organisation, im sure he has looked back on file upon file and now just has a deep rooted dislike of all things english.

Theres gotta be some explanation why he dislikes us.

I'm not especially proud of myself but I can't bring myself to support domestic rivals in Europe. I wished Spurs all the best last year (and Everton a few years back) and similarly English clubs apart from Liverpool in the UEFA / Europa. But when it's a serious rival I can't help it - the tribal gene kicks in.

I guess it's similar to wanting traditional rivals (France, Germany) and teams that have recently beat us (Portugal) to lose in the WC, while feeling more relaxed when Brazil or Spain win.

I like to see all the English teams do well, even our rivals.

Just because I know it pees off Platini.

I hate Liverpool more than Platini. The former ruined my childhood. The latter is a bit of a gobshite who, like any politician, will ride a populist wave against popular targets but I don't think he actually 'hates England'.

Yes, i support any english club in any european competition......apart from Liverpool obviously
