One thing i have noticed among Chelsea fans is the sheer amount of people who want Cesc back in the lineup and i just want to ask, why?
Last season was the first for year's he has performed at the business end, it's not a coincidence. The rotation of Cesc has arguably been Antonio's best bit of management of all, he is using him when the game requires his presence and keeping him firmly on the bench at times he will be more of a hindrance.
Another argument is more creativity, well it hasn't been a problem breaking team's down for the most part even with Matic and Kante, heck we have even gone onto get late winner's after taking Hazard off which would have been unthinkable under Jose. We certainly don't rely on Cesc's creativity like we did under Mou, ofcourse there will be games in the season we need it, but in those circumstances we can start him or bring him on.
If we start him week in week out again he will be tanked by February, use him smartly and he will still be producing in hopefully a title race and late stages of the CL.
When it comes to Cesc, less is more

Why the questions over Cesc, I cannot understand it,he is still a world class player ,and a match winner.
As for him starting every game,of course not, like every thoroughbred,he needs wrapping in wool at times, and Antonio knows this ,thank goodness.

Yep. He ain't got the legs for the full 90 but off the bench when there's a bit more space he's fantastic.

Fabregas has the best passing game of any player in the PL. We are lucky to have him the only midfielder who can think about matching Lampard stats.

Fabregas should play against the smaller sides and when we ate chasing a game with 30mins to go.

I think it was more of a case of preferring fab to magic last year when matic stopped defending completely.
Now we have bakayoko, Kante and fab a good mix between the three next year will be used no doubt.
Fab in the early games of cl will be vital.
Quite possibly the most creative player in the league still. Passing wise atleast

Fabregas had his best season for us last season when playing the fewest games. More of that please. No need to change something that worked so brilliantly for us last season.

His best season was the first year we won it with him in the team. Yeah he faded a bit but was a better season overall

For me he made many more match defining moments last season than his first. Most of his assists in that first season were from corners...He was much improved for us last season and he said as much himself.

What is utterly pointless though is bringing him on with 10 minutes left - when the horse has bolted
