The Carp’s a very cunning fish
It lurks among the reeds
There’s many different theories
About how and when it feeds
Some sit all night and freeze their balls
To try and catch their prey
With thermos flasks and primus stoves
To keep the cold at bay
Your hands are cold, your feet are cold
Your face feels like it froze
You feel just like an Eskimo
With icebergs up your nose
The night is clear, the stars shine bright
So never mind the frost
Was that a bite, no just the reeds
And more end-tackle lost
Time now for another cast
And have a change of bait
The red paste or the blue paste
Or that cocktail from my mate
The luncheon meat has never worked
The maggots are all dead
I’ve never caught on sweetcorn here
Oh B####cks, home to bed!!

Judith is an experienced and efficient manager that always has and always will make sure that the customers experience is a pleasant one and would never, ever say those despicable comments that you have lied about. We have witnesses to your behaviour at the till and at the table and one kind family that was at just a bit further down from you were kind enough to leave us their number if we needed it as they were appalled by your behaviour.

I know with all my heart, with a terrible chilling certainty, that the creature wants us dead. There will be no appeasing it if it comes back.

Mary in the shallows laughing
Over where the carp dart
Spooked by the new shadows that she cast
Across these sad waters and across my heart
