Don't let this dancing, punch avoiding, charlatan lose to that big mouthed didicoi. For the sake of Boxing let that wrestler pub closing time fighter be turned over. Imagine the loonies talking up that wrestling bollox if that didicoi wins.

The idea that should McGregor win it is somehow the death of boxing is wrong IMO, whatever the result boxing fans will wake up th enext day and be excited by upcoing fights like GGG Canelo.
It's a circus act, think of it like that and you can begin to enjoy the pantomine etc.

So not only do you know nothing about MMA and it's various technical disciplines, you nothing about McGregor either.

Had a discussion about this with my pal at the weekend. He was in the same camp as you.
However, my point was that should McGregor win he'd be doing boxing a favour.
Now I know boxing reputation would take a blow should Floyd be sparked out but it's recovered from worse and would recover from this.
Mayweather's legacy however would be in tatters and that is worth boxing's rep taking a knock.
Not to mention he's done worse to boxing's reputation than a McGregor win ever would, with his constant ducking of opponents. That led to others cherry picking opponents, which has led to every man and his dog taking pot shots at boxing's reputation. It's been the biggest bugbear of boxing fans too.
It's only been in the past 2-3 years that the best have finally started fighting the best again, at their peaks.

Very much how I viewed Tyson Fury. CLearly staged pantomine and people lapped it up and got wound up by it. It used to make me laugh.
