Just a few days to go boys. What do you think Wenger will go with to run out against Leicester and give us the three points?
..................................Cech...........................
................Holding........Mert............Monreal
Bellerin.............................................................The Tank
............................Xhaka.............Elneny........................
....................Iwobi.......................................Welbz
......................................Lacazette...................................
Wenger has stated Ramsey, Ozil and Sanchez may be short so I expect the same team as we saw against Chelsea, apart from Tank in for Ox.
Thoughts and confident of a win?
Starting lineup vs Leicester?

Mf does look pretty bad. This will be a lot more intense than the Chelsea game
If Sanchez is fit, he has to start. Welbeck gives us nothing in these type of games.

Also, Ox has to start over Bellerin

Cech
Holding Nacho Kolasinic
Bellerin Xhaka Ramsey Ox
Ozil Lacazette Welbeck
Think it's more likely we will see this

Erm. No Alexis?

Not fit enough for the bench on Sunday, do7bt he will be ready to start Friday
Bench appearance in my opinion.

Agree that Sanchez is superior but to say Welbeck offers us nothing is harsh. Although his finishing is that of 40 year old Centre Back with arthritis he is very mobile, will chase down lost causes and pull defenders out of position. He is a real team player (think Ray Parlour with pace) who will open up space for the likes of Lacazette purely by the fact he doesn't give defenders any rest.

Yeah unlikely Sanchez will start - will come off the bench for last 20 mins for match fitness imo

People stating we need to sign CBs are clueless...
Koscielny = One of, if not the best in the league.
Mustafi = Looked decent in his first season for us, only going to get better.
Gabriel = I think he's quality, it's just taken some time for him to adapt to England and our culture/language. He was our best defender towards the end of last season, unlucky to pick up an injury but hopefully he'll learn not to lunge in so stupidly in an unnecessary position and time.
Holding = Looks very promising, far better than Chambers at CB.
Mertesacker = Looking revitalised despite his stitches and less likely to get punished for his lack of pace with a back 3 or 5 if you like.
Monreal, Kolasinac and even Elneny can play there and look solid too.
What we cannot do is play Elneny & Xhaka alongside each other again as there was ZERO chemistry and very poor interplay between them as they are both better defensively and lack offensive quality (besides Xhaka's long shots & passing).
If I have to watch another ball fall to Elneny outside of the box and him blast it over the bar again I will throw something at the TV. Why is he always the one it falls to... Get back away from the goal you average Egyptian.

Agree that CM looks weakest but:
Kos - possible crock
Mustafi - Decent if not yet proved he's top class
Gabriel - not good enough
Holding - Jury still out but has potential
Mert - Fading

Bellerin has been shockingly average for a while now. I will play the OX instead
