Just last year before he penned a new deal this was music to the ears of most Spurs fans : "I'm 26 now and starting to think about if I want to finish my career here and I'd love to do that," Rose told the club's official website. "There won't be many players able to say that they've been at a club for X amount of years.
"I'd love to be able to look back at the end of my career and think I'd been at a club for the whole of my career. That's the plan.
"You don't know what will happen in football but that's the plan, I want to be here for a long, long time and I hope while I'm here I get to win trophies as well."

He wants to win trophies, just like our fans want us to win trophies too. If the club are going to sit on their hands waiting for charity as opposed to actually showing some real intent to build on a runners-up spot then I understand his frustration

Rose was happy to sign his contract last summer, he agreed to the amount for 5 years, if he performs well this coming season he would get a contract improvement.
If he wants to leave, then he can go, after gobbing off as he has I want him gone, and I'm sure Poch feels the same about Rose now.
