80-game stretch going back to the tail-end of the 2014-15 season:

Spurs - 0 titles
Liverpool - 0 titles
Arsenal - 4 titles

So our defence clearly isn't that bad compared to those two teamsOr maybe our attack is just miles better.

Lol of course it's a title. It's an official supercup. So that's not a grey area.

And Jose is a big advocate for the Shield. That's why he put up 3 fingers at the end of last season, and put up 7 fingers when Chelsea won it in 2007 (his 7 titles at Chelsea).

Our defence will mean we comfortably finish ahead of both.

Our rivals will be United, City and Chelsea.

It's just not possible to sustain a realistic title challenge with the defences they have. It can't be done, however good you are going forward.

No team with a dodgey defence has ever won the league title. Every game is a high scoring nail biter.

Whereas Spurs just need to sign some players to stand any chance of doing anything this season.

To be fair Arsenal had arguably 3 better CBs out who could have played. Hoping we'll improve when mustafi, kos and mert are in the team. But I think still our defence will let us down, it doesn't look like Wenger puts much effort into defensive coaching. Players seem usure of their role. But with our better defenders back we should have a bit more organisation and leadership at the back
