It just had to be him, shows the haters that he still has class.
Pickford looks to be a wastewhat with his command of the area, coming to claim crosses, epic distribution and a great save to boot
Rooooooney.

Looks like the move will do him good, not his biggest fan but if he picks up his career a bit all credit to him

After his goal he pulled the strings in the 2nd half.
The whole team were completely disjointed in that first 45, don't know what Koeman was attempting but it clearly didn't work.
If Robles or Stek had been in goal my undercrackers would have changed colour but I was a lot more relaxed knowing Pickford was in between the sticks and a great save from him at the end too.

Pickford was a breath of fresh air.
Shame that haters wanted to focus on his lack of heigh and not his undoubted quality

Rooney needed new scenary and a bit of hunger back. Been a fabulous player for us. Happy for him today and fitting he's gone back to his boyhood club.
Everton will do well this season. Koeman is quality.

A perfectly written script for Rooney on his Everton return with winner against Stoke at Goodison
Very happy for him. Hope he keeps up the good performance. His experience will be a plus to your season.

He looked revitalised like a kid on Christmas Day . Never seen him looking so happy, hopefully his form gets back to the top player he was and he might have another big international tournament in him

It will take a while for the new players to bed in.
Is this your busiest transfer window ever?

Hopefully Pickford playing for a top half side means Southgate can finally drop Hart from being number 1, had another shocker yesterday against us.

Now Rooney has retired to Everton hopefully England can get a striker that turns up at tournaments instead of qualifiers now.👍
