ICC don't seem to be happy about to the fact that India didn't turn up to the awards last night...
Well I think I know the reason why...You see India's next match is in Cardiff and it's extremely difficult and very challenging to get from Cardiff to London. I don't expect the likes of Sachin to attend the awards, simply because he is recovering from injury in India, that's acceptable...but India, rightly won the spirit of the year award...don't look so good now, does it, fam? Maybe, if the awards were called the BCCI awards, they'd have turned up!
And, lastly, the guy, who defines 'Plank', Ijaz Butt!- Who is he to question the ICC's decision to pick one Pakistani player in the ODI team?! Maybe Clive Lloyd should ask him a few questions...
Number 1- Why are you here?
Number 2- How are you still chairman of PCB?
Number 3- What type of idiot are you, Mr Ijaz Butt?
Where Art Thou?

this is a stupid thread!
its a personal decision of players, who are we to tell them to do what they want to do in their private life???
Dhoni has won the award twice and both the times he did not go to receive it and it his personal decision , as a cricket fan i only demand or expect my team to perform their duties on field efficiently , weather they attend any awards cermony or do anything else is not of my concern, its their life they can do what they want do .
i think for the first time ever an english cricketer has won it and we see people barking

Ahh, cricket-fan.
You posted a few wum threads before the India series, and disappeared during the hammering that followed.
Your players couldn't be bothered to drive for 2 hours to the ceremony, it's not like it was held in NZ, or they had to come from India to attend.
Not good enough if you ask me.

ahh murdoch ,
no wonder u have got that name , always trying to wum and exploit even a tiny bit of news
any way when dhoni won ICC ODI cricketer of the year in 2008 he was in town and yet he didnot attend , which was his personal choice , by the way they seems to have informed ICC well in advance that they r not coming and they dont need a seat reserved , why dont u bask in the glory of english cricket, why do english fans always act as a moral police in the world of cricket, we all do what we want to do , we dont nee du lot to tell us what to do , try to win a world cup first !

'no wonder u have got that name , always trying to wum and exploit even a tiny bit of news'
Show to me my constant wumming attempts please.
'why do english fans always act as a moral police in the world of cricket,'
Because of the 'questionable' individuals administering cricket in the sub-continent. When was the last time there was a corruption scandal in English cricket? Have a look a bit closer to home before you start down that line.
'try to win a world cup first'
T20 world champions and No1 test side. Thanks.

neon, that report is older than Yoda. It references Alec Stewart standing in for Nasser Hussain as captain. Do you have anything following on from that?
