There's a few comments on here this morning playing down our superb win last night against L2 opposition. I think we can rightly feel encouraged by the scoreline, and by Roofe's hat trick. How many times in the last 15 years have we stumbled against lower league or non-league opposition? And last night, they scored first.

Usually we have scraped by or been dumped out (Histon, ffs!), bottling it completely - but last night, the scoreline was emphatic, as it should have been playing an inferior side. We now seem to have the confidence to do the biz. For me, it's a sign of the positive regeneration of our great club under the AR/VO/TC regime. 'Underperformers' like Roofe are now bagging hatttricks...and goals are coming from midfielders as well as strikers. This is all just brilliant, in my view. It's amazing what an immediate and enormous impact the new regime seems to be having on the club.

What a turnaround we are witnessing! I reckon we're going to remember this season for a long time as the start of something really good!

The turnaround needs to conclude with promotion otherwise the prem predators will take the likes of saiz and alioski off us next season

Know someone who spoke to Orta yesterday and he said they had virtually sorted the strikers they were after, he said Gestede wasn't one of them, could have been a smokescreen but don't think so,

Grot we know we are getting as long as medical goes ok, 2nd would be Long for me or Ings but both would want a pretty penny in wages, can but dream

the new striker will be around 25 years old with a good moneyball record in europe, hungry and a target man

There is a spanish striker we are rumoured tonne after a real classy player apprenently. Very much like Mirco Antenucci.
