We played well against West Ham and yesterday.

However against Swansea until that last ten mins or so we were not that good.

Also worth bearing in mind that West Ham look attrocious, and at this rate will go down and Newcastle battered them in a similar fashion.

There is a long way to go before we can say we have clicked as a unit.

Granted we didn't play as well against Swansea but when we scored and the gaps started to open up our counter attacks were far more effective than last season and we punished them which we wouldn't have done last season.

Mendy looks the most exciting from our acquisitions as adds width, strong, quick and played a fantastic first time ball in across the box. Clichy could only dream of those attributes.

Bernardo Silva will grow as the season goes on as has a great touch but needed more time then was afforded against Bournemouth.

Matic does look a good signing so far, surprised Chelsea let him join Man U. Could come back to bite them by end of the season.

Kolasanic looks a good deal. Considering he was completely free, looks a good player. But with our terrible defensive coaching, may not make a big difference. However he brings much needed strength to our team. Seems a smart move overall.

Lemina and Hoedt could be decent buys for Southampton. Don't know too much about them, but Southampton always seem to make good purchases. Could be ones to watch. Especially for Liverpool
