Personally I think it makes sense for us on quite a few levels;
a) he contributes to the home grown quota
b) he covers a range of positions where our squad depth looks light.
c)I also think he's the type of player that Conte will improve greatly, all the physical attributes you could want, just needs constantly drumming tactically, much like Moses.
£35 million for a player in the last year of his contract does seem steep though, even in this market.
Thoughts?

He's crap, and certainly not a wing back. He was awful yesterday. Weird signing

Homegrown ✅
Upgrade on Moses ✅
Fits the system ✅
£35m now is the old £20m... Decent enough business.

Good player
Defo not an upgrade on Moses though, Moses is excellent.
Upgrade on Willian though

He's very rarely good, hasn't been in his entire time at Arsenal

He's been good for them in his new role at WB. Perfect signing for us in the position we need strengthening. Overpriced but that's how it is in the crazy market.

Jesus.
Let's hope we can mug someone to pay the same for Barkley

Arsenal paid £15m for him in 2011, six years later they made a £20m profit on Ox. Probably enough to cover his wages

Decent enough player.
Football going mad when we buy the best midfielder in the league for 30 and then 2 years later we buy oz for 35
