Ox delusion

Dont know why some Arsenal fans are acting like this Ox transfer is great news for Arsenal and bad news for Liverpool.
Yes, Ox is a player that divides opinion with fluctuating performances but like it or not Liverpool have just added to their squad, and the Ox will be a useful addition. He can cover a few positions adding to their depth, and will probably suit Liverpools high energy fast paced system more than ours, meaning Klopp may get him to realise much more of his potential than Wenger ever could. Obviously on the contrary, this may not happen and he may end up being just an okay squad player for them but that remains to be seen.

If the rumoured £40mil is accurate, what difference does it make to us as fans. Do we trust our manager/board/whoever, to reinvest these funds into signing a better player than the Ox during this window? No? Me neither.

So wether it be 30,40, heck even £50mil we receive, it means nothing unless we sign an adequate replacement before the deadline tomorrow.

We are the ones losing out NOT Liverpool, lets not decieve ourselves and pretend otherwise.....

Don't be too hard on yourselves this was always going to happen. Ox just proving that once you've played for Southampton you'll end up at Liverpool somehow, there's no escape.

Would you be happy if we used the money for Mahrez?

Hey Godfather, I know you and I have rarely seen eye to eye in our times on here, but genuinely wondering what you make of everything that's going on at the moment? Would actually make a refreshing change to hear someone able to put a positive spin on just what the feck is happening to the club at the moment (in a non trolling / delusional way) because I'm really struggling to make sense of anything that the club do anymore.

If we sign no one else. Which is looking very very likely, there are no positives. We are obviously just being ran as a business venture. Apparently we have no money for signings, which is total crap. We aren't making CL money so it's clear we are saving money now to keep making good profits. It's a total joke. And it will back fire

Suarez nearly won us the league and got us in the champions league.

Arsenal offered the Ox £180k pw, and two top managers offered Arsenal £40m to get him, and yet some clueless and deluded Arsenal fans think he is crap and good riddance. No wonder this club is in such a mess.

If OX wasn't homegrown he'd be worth about 10m and Chelsea/Pool wouldn't be interested.

I don't know exactly why Ox has decided to take a side step in his career. Going to Chelsea demonstrates that he wants to win things but it does come at a cost of being a squad player.
Only reason I can think he would choose Liverpool is because of their style of play and him being guaranteed good amount of playing time and being an important member of the team. He can definitley fit into their style of play.

I hope Klopp can coach him properly, because the man has it all except the end product.

Assuming Wenger sticks with the same formation I would prefer Bellerin at RWB and Kola at LWB than Ox at RWB and Bellerin at LWB.
