When we resort to 4 defenders, 2 holding midfielders against the mighty Malta. AOC headless chicken, Bertrand always going backwards, Henderson, WTF???? We can never go anywhere with a midfield like that.
No strength, no depth. Even if we somehow win 5-0, the first 40 minutes show that we do not have one top class player. People will say Kane - but no movement from him.
So far, Embarrassing.

No midfielder since Gerrard can pick up the ball and run past these types of team. At least Hart might keep his first clean sheet in an astonishing 23 games. No wonder Torino said arrividerci.

The entire midfield 4 are so dire, no creativity and no idea, it still amazes me how Sterling is a professional footballer, all he has to offer is being quick. Livermore and Horrendo couldnt unlock a door let alone a stubborn defense and Oxlade is a headless chicken.

We need any midfielder who can pass the ball 2 yards and actually find feet/space of a teammate. Any player who runs behind the Maltese defence. Any forward who has some sort of strength and can hold the ball up.
Do we have anyone?
