After the "shaambles" of the summer there seems more questions than answers going forward into the Bournemouth, FC Koln, Chelsea match week.
For Saturday:
Alexis Sanchez played last night for Chile, after an injury scare. Will he be involved on Saturday?
After being told he wasn't good enough and allowed to leave, will Shkodran Mustafi be given a second chance?
After Ox playing the majority of games in the 3-4-2-1 formation will we switch back to 4-2-3-1 - especially with the Mustafi situation?
Wouldn't be surprised if we saw this against Bournemouth:
Cech, Holding, Koscielny, Monreal, Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac, Ozil, Welbeck, Lacazette.
Next Thursday should answer a few questions about what sort of team we will see in the Europa. It should be a chance for the likes of Chambers, Wilshere, Walcott and Giroud to get starts. Hopefully we will see the talented Reiss Nelson start as well. And will Mat Debuchy and Chuba Akpom come in from the cold after being made available for transfer.
The starting XI will be dependant on the selection for Saturday, but I would imagine something like:
Ospina, Mustafi, Mertesacker, Chambers, Debuchy, Coquelin, Wilshere, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Walcott, Giroud.
Then it is Chelsea away.
Big week....

I miss Rosicky.
Yes, he'd miss most of the season, but at least there was always the prospect of him returning and us playing good football for half a dozen games at the end of every season.

Mustafi is told he isn't good enough, yet he plays Monreal as a CB? Strange.

It's a massive shame (But ultimately no surprise) about Bielik's injury, was hoping he'd get some time in the Europa.

Personally I would prefer a fit Cazorla

Cazorla useless to you now, he's missed so much football his match sharpness will be shot after having so long out and would take an age to return especially now he's 32.

As opposed to a fit Rosicky?
Ive been saying for ages that we need to forget Cazorla. After over a year out it could easily take a year or two to get back to form and match sharp. By then he will be past it.
