A chat box is not a good idea when you consider the amount of registered users the site will potentially have if it goes well. A chat box with 100 people at one time is bad enough, let alone 1,000 or 10,000. It would be absolute carnage that would always be susceptible to abuse. Not to mention the fact that you would never be able to make head nor tail of conversation with so many people using it.

The boards are fine and a chat box is not needed.

Chatbox is killing not606

Not 606 is dominated by Newcastle hull Sunderland and man utd,hardly any other clubs have more than a handful of posters so debates are far too one sided and insular.When 606 was without the overwhelming wums,debate between different clubs was very good but became silly point scoring so let's hope this site can get back to what was good about 606 in the first place
