In the light of Gary Neville going off piste in his commentary last Saturday over the Mane sending off which resulted in innocent fans being completely misled - imagine if they were all at it?
First of all Neville should have simply reported :
"Ouch! [pause and wait for replay] Jon Moss is going for a card....it's red. Even though Mane was looking at the ball, the rules are he has to go. Let's hope the keeper is okay."
Or are we going to have interpretations from now on?
Is it going to turn into a circus every week?
Imagine Martin Tyler voicing his opinion in 2012 :
"Manchester City are still alive here....Balotelli....Agueerrro.....I swear you'll never see anything like this ever again. On second thoughts they did buy it didn't they?!"

Neville acted as if it was the worst decision ever, he made a comment a few years ago when we beat city at old Trafford when kompany made a horrer tackle on blind I think, it was a clear red card tackle shin high, and after saying 1st "oh he could be in trouble here" the ref shows a yellow then after the replays showing it was clearly a awful tackle he goes on and says "no one wants to see 10 vs 11", ermm yes I do!

I think Neville is an alright pundit and commentator. He's a lot better then Carragher!

G Neville is a symptom of all that is wrong in modern football/sport.
It's all about being dramatic, and having a 'story'.
Nothing is just good play, or a slight mistake. It has to be terrible, or genius..
All we hear is 'He SHOULD have scored!', or ' he should have done better'..it's so negative and depressing!
I ask you, watch the 1966 World cup final. The original commentary is fantastic. No opinions, no what if's, no 'this one small refereeing decision ruined the entire game' etc. Long silences!! He only speaks when their is a need.

And yet when Alonso hit Bellerin with a flying elbow last season
"It's a fair challenge, a brave challenge that got it's just rewards"

Shameful and embarrassing.
Should have been sacked on the spot.
