Who would you start on a regular basis?
I'd play Young as at least there is the possibility of a decent cross, especially with the Aerial threat we possess.
Young or Tony

Valencia in the bigger games
Young in the smaller ones

Young impressed me last night, I think his effort is never in doubt although he does often have a stinker, but under Jose whenever called upon he's done a good job. He'd probably be better suited as a wingback than a fullback, can't remember if LVG already tried that with him?

I'd like to see Fellaini at right back.

To use a ja606 hackneyed saying or something Stretty would most likely say: ' it's like asking if you want Ebola or AIDS'.
On a serious note, we can do better than both

We can, and should do better than all our options at full back on both sides.
From the current options though, I'd go for Valencia in most games as he has so far, but bring Young in when we will be on the front foot like last night, and in the 'easier' home games in the PL. He is undoubtedly better when in and around the opponents box.

I still don't really understand why Toni has lost his ability to cross a ball? Pretty sure it was a big part of his game when he was a winger, but as he's got older for whatever reason his crosses have just got worse. Maybe he thinks about it too much and doesn't whip them in like he used to when at pace.
When you move a winger to the FB role you generally think they may be suspect defensively but can still put in some great balls, Toni is the complete opposite.

Wouldn't mind seeing both of them start on the right hand side in some games. Maybe Young ahead of Valencia. If nothing else it would offer some natural width and good work rate and balance.
But sooner or later we need to address the full back positions and the right side of the attack.

I am so jealous of City's full backs. Ours really are pretty poor, shame we didn't go for Mendy but I suppose Mourinho likes full backs who defend first hence his love in with Arbeloa at Madrid.
I'd actually like to see Young on Sunday, I know it's not going to happen given last night was his first game in months but it's so nice seeing a full back actually be able to cross.

Valencia. One good game at right back doesn't mean Young should be playing regularly.
