One positive...

The hilarious, "Mike Dean is a Spurs fan" memes died today. No complaints from me though. If referees want to be reluctant to give penalties, and yellow cards, unless they are absolutely sure then that's good for the Premiership. There i said it. There are too many soft penalties and soft yellow cards.

The question though is obviously consistency. And whoever you support, you know full well that United are getting two of those penalties at Old Trafford. But if Mike Dean is going to be consistently reluctant, then fair play.

Definate foul on Aurier but we can't expect to get every decision. No complaints about the result. Master class in defending from Swansea City throughout. Rode their luck but absolutely stuck to good fundamentals.

A great deal now going to made about Wembley and there is a lot to be said for that. What might be missed is how effective Tottenham actually are in handling a well disciplined ultra defensive side playing deep at home? Whether that's Wembley or down to tactics I'm not really sure. I think we would have easily beat them away.

Good thing Spurs dropped points or the Resident Clown would be gobbing off again, phew.

you cant blame the ref for he result

We just werent set up to win and Swanse had a game plan they stuck to well, if you look at it fairly Swansa deseved the point.

When you have 70%+ possession and can't get the ball in the net then it always must be the fault of the referee?
Ridiculous!

Spurs played today like they were sleep-walking.

To be fair to the ref, they were not stonewall pens, so I can see why he turned them all down.

Never understood why people think we get pens at OT. We usually get denied tons at OT as refs hide behind that myth of pens at OT.

I feel we are having to play the opposition AND the officials. They gave a free-kick on the first goal that I couldn't believe. I thought the referee was going to blow in our direction. It was a terrible decision.

“We are all just laughing at them at the minute. We get a player booked for doing the same. Maybe I have got to understand that's what happens at Manchester United - they are certainly not giving us much at this moment in time."
.....
To be honest if you manage Man Utd it means you are managing the team that gets the worst decisions.
