In this particular game Arsenal require at least 2 sitting MFs to protect their defence - not so sure if Xhaka and Ramsey have what it takes to hold their positions with discipline over a full game. Both players love to get involved going forward, but Chelsea are one of the better sides in the PL at picking opponents off on the counter.

The presence of a 3rd central midfielder, possibly Elneny, would add a touch more security.

Elneny does well alongside Xhaka. Problem is that Xhaka is hot and cold. When he's on it he really is a player to pull the strings but then he's also the biggest liability out there. In many ways like Ozil but much more involved

Xhaka is not hot and cold. He is very consistent. And that consistency is all about the time he is given on the ball. If he is given time and the opposition back off he can pick a good pass. If he is not given time on the ball he is awful.

He is also awful defensively, always.

I am expecting Conte to realise that he needs to pressure Xhaka to turn around their losing streak to us. I really do think it is as simple as that for them to get a win.

He was pretty crap again Koln. But Second half he did have a better game.

I was impressed with lemina yesterday. Shame we weren't in for him, sort of player we need. Broke up play well, made a lot of good tackles, looked strong, shielded the defence, and did well to launch attacks and passed the ball around comfortably. Only cost saints 18m as well. Could be one to watch

Agree on Lemina yesterday - to be honest most of the midfielders on the park yesterday looked more use than Xhaka - for a player that's supposedly meant to control tempo he's incredibly cumbersome in possession.

It would be great if Arsenal sneak a draw today but I see it being an easy Chelsea 2-0 win.
