"In one game I go with three strikers, the three that don’t play will play midweek, no matter the competition."
"Alexis Sanchez has been out and injured, I thought he was short on Sunday physically. I played him last night to give him more competition."

Not really sure of the discussion you are trying to start?
We don't play til Monday, so appearing last night should not affect the availability of Alexis for the WBA game.

What do you make of the striker rotation?

Striker rotations are a no-no for me. It takes time to get into goalscoring touch. Form, learning to play with teammates, learning the right runs etc. Its not like the strikers we have replicate each others in skills.
Look at the goal we scored yesterday. Alexis knew Theo would make that run and the timing of the pass, timing of the run were immaculate. We had that sort of combination play last season between Walcott, Ozil and Alexis.
Until of course Wenger messed around and our gameplay, fluency all went up in flames.

I still can't believe that we're coming up to October and Sanchez/Ozil/Lacazette are still play a minute together.
Looks like Giroud/Sanchez/Walcott will be our Europa line up.

Of course, clay. We cannot play the same over all competitions.
Laca, Ozil and Alexis will hopefully unite on the pitch one day.
Giroud, Walcott and Welbeck/Iwobi for League Cup and Europa.
Seems logical

Point is Giroud does not play like Lacazette. Its ridiculous for Wenger to think they are inter changeable. Its similar with Theo and Welbeck. Welbeck doesn't make the type of runs that Walcott makes and he definitely doesn't finish as well either.
If anything Giroud and Welbeck are similar in the sense that they both like to receive the ball back to goal. But Giroud doesn't move like Welbeck, and Welbeck couldn't hope to put in the type of passes that Giroud can.

Are you saying we should play the same XI every game no matter what, because some players have different strengths to others?

Personally I would go back to 4-2-3-1. That way I would limit the differences that the strikers have because I would limit what I ask my strikers to do.
So in a 4-2-3-1 I am asking my striker to stay within the box and to link play. Lacazette can head the ball like Giroud but I question whether he can hold the ball with his back to goal. And in 4-2-3-1 thats much more unnecessary. There is a reason why Conte wanted to sign Lukaku and their fall back was Morata. Both are similar players who are physical with a great deal of movement. Its one reason why Welbeck looked very good in a 3-4-3 at the end of last season.

This sounds like Wenger keeping players 'happy', no matter what!
He is limiting himself by this. Surely you play the strikers who are in top form,or are saying they are fit and raring to go. You don't rest a hungry, in form player just to stop an out of form player having a sulk!
