Hi lads
I am not from London so i need help understanding why West Ham consider Tottenham their biggest rivals? Sure i get its a London Derby but West Ham don't seem to get as excited when playing other London clubs bar maybe Millwall and that encounter rarely happens
Is it a case of just sheer jealously and a misplaced assumption of their own standing in the grand scheme of things???

I've never understood it. I grew up not even knowing who they were until they drew with united in 1995, by which point I was 11. I don't view them any differently to someone like Charlton or QPR, no idea what the deal is with them tbh.

Is any West Ham fan calling Spurs are their main rivals? No. Spurs fans are making this rivalry. Even Pochi calling West Ham are spurs enemy. It's all hilarious
