Stokes and Hales in trouble

Is there any more news on it following Hales helping out with the investigation. I've heard that Stokes fractured his hand in the incident.

How did Vince get a call up? In his first 7 tests, he looked nothing like a Test Cricketer.

Hales was a witness to the ABH apparently

The selectors have basically said that they think the Australian pitches will suit his game of playing lovely cricket shots. Whether he's a reserve batsman or coming in at 3 or 5 remains to be seen.

Michael Vaughan said we should be talking about the possibility of Vince at 3 because if there's a half volley to put away, you can guarantee he will put it away. So we need to hope the Aussies bowl constant half volleys to Vince and that he keeps finding the middle of the bat with his excessive driving rather than edging to slip.

I would have gone for Hales at 5..and Robson for 3..Vince and Ballance are poor.

I don't really understand the fascination of Hales getting into the side but he's certainly a better option than Vince.

I'm a fan of Hales but at test level, I'm not so sure personally, his style suits the ODI and 20/20 especially with the field set up

I just think Australia will suit his game better.. he cuts and pulls well. I don't think playing in England when he has to move his feet more when the balls pitched up suits him.

That's fair, we definitely need batsmen who can play the short ball well over players who recklessly drive at everything.
